Campus and Community Service

The mission statement of Edgewood Campus School speaks to our commitment of providing service to our campus and other communities. During the course of the school year, students in all grades participate in projects that benefit others. During Advent and Lent, our school service projects are designed to practice our Dominican values of compassion, community, and partnership. Since 1990, the Campus School has been especially committed to the Sisters of St. Therese and to their school in Tanzania.

As our middle school students are maturing in their faith, they will learn to take a more proactive and independent approach to service and are free to choose from an array of service opportunities. Students in 6th grade participate in two projects involving service work during the school year. We require students in the 7th and 8th grades to give a minimum of 10 hours of community service each year.
